Knowing what everyone's expectations are allows you to set the tone of what the vacation will be.
 
Will it be a more active vacation, lots of nightlife, time to relax and recharge? Knowing the tone of the vacating allows you to refine the destination and activities.
 
The more people that you can get input from the better you'll be able to craft a list of expectations. Get input from as many people as possible to better craft your list, the more input you have the easier it will be to pick a destination and activities.
 
How Much Time Will You Have?
 
Many vacationers over plan. They try to pack as much into one adventure ears possible. This leaves them more tired at the end of the trip than at the beginning.
 
Selecting the appropriate number activities per day and per trip is a balancing act. You don’t want to spend your whole vacation in the hotel room watching TV, you could do that at home.
 
Also, the goal isn't to be rushing all over the place from one activity to the next. This will causing more stress and frustration that you might miss out.
 
When budgeting your activities it’s best to aim to one to two activities per day. For bigger adventure pick one per day. For more variety choose a couple smaller ones, one in the morning and one in the afternoon or evening. The more bitesize events you have the more people that will join..
